Ecommerce website redesign for a women's fashion brand

The goal of this project was three-fold: to elevate the look and feel of BethelHelena's ecommerce website to align with the high-fashion nature of the brand; to update site functionality; and to update the site back-end to make it easier for BethelHelena to manage product inventory.

Discovery and Strategy

We began with a workshop to better understand the BethelHelena brand so that we could align the page designs with the ‘personality’ of the business. We determined that the website design needed to feel strong, lively, and unique. Additionally, we outlined functionality the new site needed to include: newsletter sign-ups, discount promos, custom order forms, and video headers.

Design and Development

We imported products from the old Shopify site and worked with the BethelHelena team to tag everything appropriately so that products would appear in the right Collections. Once we had the product back-end set up, we began site development in a new Shopify theme. The page designs feature bold videos, warm colors, and rich textures to accentuate BethelHelena’s products, without detracting from them.
