Innovation Semiconductor had been operating in ‘stealth mode’ for several years as they developed their product. But when it came time to launch, they knew they needed a bold website that would reflect the cutting-edge nature of their work and grab the attention of investors and potential customers.
Discovery and Strategy
We started with a discovery workshop to better understand the company’s product, their competitive differentiators, and their business and website goals. Next, we conducted thorough research of the semiconductor space to familiarize ourselves with industry concepts and jargon.
Using this information, we put together a Brand Book for Innovation Semiconductor that included both visual brand guidelines (logo, colors, and fonts) and messaging guidelines (voice and tone, values, audiences, mission and vision).
Next we wrote website copy for each page, focusing on distilling complex technical concepts into compelling explanations catered to investors and C-Suite decision makers.
Design and Illustration
To add flair to the website and help users visualize technical concepts, we created custom isometric illustrations for each of the semiconductor’s key features. Then we created designs for each website page and built a website prototype so that Innovation Semiconductor could gather feedback before we moved into site development.
Once the brand materials, page copy, and designs were approved, we moved into site development. We built the site in Webflow, with a focus on creating attention-grabbing scroll effects and animations.
